Metaverse is imagined as a portal or an application that can help bridge the gap between the physical and virtual world. Today, if we want to connect with anyone from another part of the world we have social media and messaging platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp, etc. But is the experience satisfying?
Can the experience be further improved? This is what a promise from metaverse is. Metaverse promises that it will further reduce the gap for virtual interactions and make it more real as we are having in the physical world.
When we talk about technology the first-mover advantage is significant. Because of this reason lot of big tech giant companies are investing millions of dollars and making an attempt to build a platform. Are they succeeding in doing so?
It is too early to promise anything at this point of time. I think that there is an evolution happening in the way we have been using the digital platforms to date and there has to be a positive impact from this.
